MSC Cruises have announced that starting from April 2023 MSC Meraviglia will be homeporting in New York. For the first time in the cruise line’s history, one of their ships will sail year-round from the Big Apple, setting course to a variety of destinations in the Caribbean as well as the island of Bermuda, and autumnal cruises to New England and Canada.
This won’t be MSC Meravilgia’s first trip to the USA, in fact, in October 2019 the mega cruise ship made history as she officially became the largest cruise ship to dock in the city of New York, berthing at the north end of Pier 88 at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. This time round MSC Meraviglia will sail from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal throughout 2023.
