Channel 5’s signature travelogue Cruising With is back for a new six-part series that debuts on Friday 1st of April. After seven seasons of Cruising With, former cruise ship entertainer Jane McDonald is passing the baton on to Scottish comedian and television presenter Susan Calman.
You may already be familiar with Susan Calman as the Glaswegian presenter featured on a two-part festive special, Christmas Cruising with Susan Calman, where she embarked on a winter adventure in search of the Northern Lights onboard Hurtigruten‘s MS Maud.
Cruising with Susan Calman – Episodes 1 & 2
The first two episodes in the series which air at 9pm on Friday 1st of April and Friday 8th of April, will see Susan spend 12 nights onboard Regal Princess. Setting sail from Southampton in October 2021, Susan had the chance to explore the Canary Islands, from jet skiing in Gran Canaria to riding by motorbike to Tenerife’s active volcano, Mount Teide.
We’ll also have the chance to see Susan get involved with the Princess Cruises crew as she tries her hand at cocktail making as well as helping out at guest services! Tune in and you’ll be able to learn more about this stunning ship as well as Susan’s personal onboard experience.
Cruising with Susan Calman – Episodes 3 & 4
Episodes 3 & 4 will see Susan exploring the Mediterranean on one of the world’s largest cruise ships with stops in Greece, Montenegro, Italy and Spain. Check back soon for more information on these two episodes.
Cruising with Susan Calman – Episodes 5 & 6
Episodes 5 & 6 have been filmed in the Caribbean, as Susan sets sail from Florida visiting sun-drenched islands as well as exotic ports in Costa Rica and Panama.
